Notes

I designed this top-down triangular shawl for the book At the Spinnery, a collection of 12 designs featuring Green Mountain Spinnery yarns.

Green Mountain Spinnery is a worker-owned fiber cooperative in Putney, Vermont. In honor of their location, I named the shawl after Vermont’s state bird, the hermit thrush (Catharus guttatus).
