What a fun hat! I used stash yarn that’s a heavier weight, so cast on fewer sts, worked one less repeat vertically, and made minor adjustments to the crown shaping. Very pleased with the fit - so often hats are too small for me. This one is just right.

This project is part of my 2013 effort to knit primarily from stash yarns. It required exactly two skeins of Telemark for the knitting; I had to break into a third skein for the tassels.
