Pomegranate is knit in the round, bottom up, and has set-in sleeves that are knit in the round, top down, using short rows to shape the sleeve caps. Both front and back feature the same wide lace panel.

This is my second sample of this design. The first version was knit in Classic Elite Soft Linen in 2010. I changed the construction substantially for the final version. The final sample (and the pattern) is knit in the round with set-in sleeves shaped by short rows. The first version was knit flat in pieces and seamed. I also altered the body and sleeve ribbing in the final design.
