Well written pattern. It’s gorgeous and I love working with alpaca. The 8ply hasn’t mattered at all.

Just about to start this in an 8 ply for my daughter’s birthday (too soon). Got the alpaca yarn with my bonus points at Morris & Son’s, which is enough like free to mean I haven’t fudged my No More Wool ‘pledge’.
Not quite a pledge, just a ‘trying-hard-to-pledge, pledge’.
Anyhow, I look forward to starting this. It looks nice.
