Finished, and so soon! I’ve already started another one for my son. This one turned out a little longer than the last, even though my row count is the same (I substituted the rib for the pattern in equal proportions). Must be the wool, which is AMAZINGLY SOFT and luscious. Had enough over for pom-poms, but…
He’s happy, so I’m happy!

I’m making this again. I’m doing a 4 stitch i-cord cast-on, for strength, then a corrugated rib band, for the same reason. He’s a landscape gardener, so punsihes his hats and the last one was abused to oblivion.
This wool feels amazing! I think the acrylic (yes, I hear my inner voice objecting, but…) will help it to wash well.
This is a lovely, in-between holiday knit. I’m happy to be polishing a few things off the list.
