24th April Blocking and sewing in loose yarn ends - done!
I was a little bit afraid of the look of the collar (because it was so narrow and ‘twisted’ during knitting. But after blocking it looks alright. Although I think I would have added an extra row on the collar. I think I just did 2 (maybe 3 rows).
I made the pullower longer (body and arms) than what the pattern suggested. Total lenght under arm for the body is abouth 17” (42.5cm) (divided between the two colors. The same applies to the arms that I made approximately 18.8” (47cm) long.
23th April Blocking in progress! Gosh, the sweather/yarn is really soft when wettened, although as usual - the smell of wet wool is not my cup of tea.
17th April Started with the third colour. I really like how the sweather turns out. And I like the yarn too, it’s smooth and the stockinett knitting goes with flow I think.
12th April I had a hard time finding info how to knit (in the round on the knit side) wrap and turns that were made on the purl side. Apparently I’m not the only one with this problem. The WS wraps doesn’t look as good as the RS wraps at all :(
10th April - NOTE TO SELF: Read the pattern carefully before startup! And make an image of the pullover and figure out how the designer has set up right and left side… In this pattern, left is left when you look at and have the garment in front of you and not the left side when you wear it.
9th April Magazine arrived! Lets start. Cast on and rib done. Now short rows…
7th April Got the yarn. Still waiting for the magazine to arrive…
