My mother-in-law has been very cold in the legs lately & asked for a pair of leg warmers. Due to medical issues her legs are very swollen, she is less than 5 foot nothing tall…. so store bought ones don’t fit. She needs leg warmers that are wide, but shorter than normal.

Used the L-XL instructions with mods:

• changed the “k1tbl, p1 round” to “Purl around” to get better detail
• did the increases on K rounds

Row 1: Purl around
Rows 2-7: knit around
Rows 8-48: Repeat rows 1-7
Row 49: Purl around
Row 50: Increase row: (K14, Kfb, K1) around
Row 51-56: Knit around
Row 57: Purl around
Row 58: Increase row: (K2, Kfb, K1)3 times, K 5 repeat * to * around
Row 59-64: Knit around
Row 65: Purl around
K1P1 rib for 17 rows.
