Notes

A few issues with the written pattern (noted bellow).
Lovely shawl when completed.

Pattern supplies section reads “1 stitch marker required” but page 3 tells you to place 2 different markets. One between the top edge section & the center section and one between the center section & the sharks tooth section. I did this before starting the “widening” instructions.

Typos:
Page 2, line 27 should read “… K to end”
Page 3, line 13 should read “… K to end”
Page 4, line 13 should read “… K to end”
Page 5, line 13 should read “… K to end”

WISH: I wish the designer didn’t break up the written instructions for top edge, center & sharks tooth. It would be so much easier to read if each of these things was included in the same row of instructions (like she did on the “Final Point” section). As is, you need to bounce your eyes all over the page…. Very hard to follow.

Strange copyright added to bottom of pattern, that’s not even based on legal copyright law: “… Not to be reproduced, re-knit, re-sold or taught for profit or charity without prior written permission. …”
Sorry, but I’ll knit how ever many I want & give/gift/donate/sell the finished item to whomever I want.

MOD: I am making the body (center section) in garter stitch rather than stocking knit.
Reasons:
1) I think it matches the sharks tooth section better.
2) it makes the shawl reversible (pretty & the same on both sides).
Starting with the “widening” section I changed row 2 in the “center section” to “All even rows, KNIT to marker”.

Suggestion: use lifelines after completing each “tooth”.

1:
Widening section complete.
Dental floss life line placed.
Loving how the yarn & pattern are working in harmony.

2:
Half way done. Loving how it’s working up.

3:
Not happy with how it ends in a big chunky squared off end… so improvising to make the final point a point.

4:
Finished & blocking.
