Slouchy version with mods.

Knit as directed for 10 inches then decreases made at the crown to eliminate bulk & all the sewing.

Row 12: SL 1 (A), k2tog (B), SL 1 (A), k2 (B) - repeat around

Row 13: SL 1 (A), P1 (B) - repeat around

Row 14: with A - K3, K3tog - repeat around

Row 15: with A - P2tog around

Cut yarn leaving a long tail. Pull tail thru live stitched & pull hole closed. Secure & hide tail.
