Front was knitted with 2 different yarns. One solid, one self-striping, switching after every 2 rows.
Back & ribbed bands were done in the solid.

Whoa…. came out way too big.
I swatched & got gauge with smaller needles then listed & it knitted up just slightly larger than the size listed. Then I washed it & it grew to a size 44 :( and is too large for hubby. So now I need to remake it in a smaller size.

The arm holes are way too big for this size, next time I will work arm holes 1/2” smaller than instructed. Also will make the arm bands 1/2” less wide.

Next time I will knit front first & then the back…. as front has specific row counts, back is measurements. If I knit front first I can just match up the back as I knit. I will also use worsted next time instead of Aran weight & even smaller needles so that I get a usable size.

This will be gifted to a friend… her hubby is bigger than mine. And it fits my friends hubby YAY!!!
