Notes

Had to use much smaller needles to get a wearable size hat.
US#6 needles for the band section
US#7 needles for the hat section

Also since my yarn is thicker than what the designer suggested… I CO 80 for a adult size hat.

I did 12 rounds of K1P1 ribbing for the band instead of the folded band.

Purl sections knit in black
Knit section knit with the two thinner silver yarns held together.

To have a smoother transition in colour changes I did the first row of black in knit, then 4 rows of purl.

I started my decreases in the 6th silver section, Then completed the decreases in the last purl section (I wanted to end with a black purl section).

The Spangle yarn was kinda scratchy but I wanted the silver sparkly, mixing it with the very soft Lace Lux helped to reduce the scratch factor. Holding both together also gave me a thicker yarn (not as thick as the black yarn, but it worked nicely).
