Trying to go through my stash and knit up some of my sock yarn. Not that I really need any more socks…..

My usual toe up formula.
Using the solid purple: Crochet chain provisional cast on 36 stitches, short row toe with 16 unworked stitches in the middle.
Joined the round, distributed the stifches 24/24/24
Cut the purple and join the Mallard. Knit for 6 1/2”, redistributed the stitches 20/32/20. Workers short row heel in solid purple, left 16 unworked stitches in the middle.
Cut the purple and picked up the Mallard, which I had left attracted to the 32 instep stitches. Continued knitting plain for 3”. Cut the Mallard.
Joined the purple and worked 2×2 rib for 2”.

I used 27 grams of the VY purple for toes, heels & cuff.
I used 37 grams of the Mallard for the foot and leg.
Bound off in rib using a #4 needle.
