Notes

This is my first time using Wollmeise and I really love it. It’s so different than any yarn I’ve knit with before. I’m just doing plain vanilla socks here, since I want these socks to be all about the yarn.

Cast on 80.
24 rounds ribbing.
88 rounds leg.
Knit across instep and work EOP heel flap on second set of 40 stitches on needle 2.
Knit 40 rows heel flap.
Pick up 21 stitches on each side of heel flap.
Work 26 rounds gusset, ending with a plain round.
Work 64 rounds foot.
Begin with decrease round, and work 20 rounds toe. Work decrease only for next 5 rounds, and kitchener remaining 20 stitches.
