Pattern purchased for me by the intended recipient when it’s an FO. They’re not an active knitter right now, but they love squishy yarn and are 100% yarn-worthy. I custom-dyed it for their current calming-colors appreciation.

I’m following the 2024 pattern version of The Wyvern. I’ve completed the first seven rows but I’m struggling where the pattern isn’t fully written out. I can read charts, but I’m not comfortable with it and there are a lot of assumptions within the pattern that miss me.

I’ll be reaching out to the designer for tips on how to get started. I know once I get going, I’ll be set; it’s just a lack of understanding on my part.
