So, The Rocket Summer is my favorite band. It’s actually one guy, Bryce Avary, who does all the vocals and plays all the instruments. He takes a band on tour with him, and they put on a great show everytime.

I was going to see them play on Saturday, and Thursday during an impromptu live tweet chat i joking offered hand knit hats for him and his lady. Of course there was no response, he’s a busy man… oh wait. He did respond, and he accepted my offer. EVERYONE PANIC!! I had one day to make two hats for my personal HERO and his beautiful wife! I think i did alright. I’m proud of myself.

So, i think it’s time to give up knitting forever. How could it get any better than this?
