Notes

This was Fun and easy project. It can be done a few days. The Pattern says Elastic. that means the 2x2 Ribbing all around the after picking up stitches. Make sure you pick up double stitches at the edges to give a semi shape. Bing off with Larger size needles and press edges and not the cable. I added crochet flower.
My interpretation of directions. Cast on 12 stitches which are for the cables. Increase one stitch on both sides the Front every row until you have 7 stitches on each side in Garter Stitch. The 12 stitches are always in stockinette stitch for cables. Turn cables according to Pattern and Knit in Straight Piece as long as you want. End by decreasing so you hare left with 12 middle Stitches. Bind off. Done. If You want you can pick up stitches all around the Edge and Knit 2x2 Ribbing for 7-10 rows which she calls Elastic. Bind Off Very loosely may using Larger side needle. I used size 9 to knit and size 10 to bind off. dd any flower Optional too. I am knitting more variations. I will pick up more on first half to give for the broad shoulder and double the stitches on the edges for the Round shape and less on the neck edge , also I will try a Lacy Edge instead of Ribbing on the shoulder edge. Oh the variations to fit your neck and style are so many including the Cable Design.
