Knit 14 rows of cuff (1.25 inches) then start the pattern.

LEFT SOCK - Next rnd, k20, PM, work next 16 sts according to the chart, PM, k to end. Pattern over top of foot 2 needles

RIGHT SOCK: work first 16 sts according to the chart, PM, k last 2 stitches on first needle and knit second needle plain.

heel flap 2.5 inches

Heel turn, slip 1, k 19, ssk knit 1. sl 1 p5 p2tog, p1 rinse and repeat.

Picked up 21 on either side of the flap
