Notes

I’m going to give this crazy thing a whack. Going for category 1 I think. But I just ordered yarn for it, so I might get a touch behind.

Fingering Weight - so I am knitting a Category One - System Epoch size.

Looks like I need size 10 needles. Which seems insanely big, so we’ll see :) Gauge of 3.2 stitches per inch as an aim.
Edit - 2/19/16 - Started with size 9 needles, didn’t like my super loose fabric feel, frogged and restarted on size 7 and now I like the fabric.

EDIT
Realized that I already have one skein of that same color I just ordered. Because I am smart. Might just cast on actually ON TIME!

Options: Do I go with Albert Einstein or Queen Victoria… I think I’m leaning Victoria :)

2/18/16 - Week 1 - Queen Victoria wins! :)

2/22/16 - Week 2 - For my crew I chose: Ingrid Bergman, Grace Coolidge, Amerlia Earhart, Indira Gandhi, Queen Victoria (I mean, seriously, we’d just spent a week knitting together), Admiral Grace Hopper (what a badass!), Grace Kelly, Maria Montesorri, The Grand Duchess Anastasia, Eleanor Roosevelt (of course!), and Robin Williams.

So that meant that I knit the Teselecta Camoflage for mine. I liked this pattern because it was very different from the first section :)

2/29/16 - This week I picked the Sonic Pirate. Half because I like pirates… and half because I thought the other one looked too similar to the first section. Also I could only reasonably be sure I could pronounce 3. I could sound more out, but I can’t know if a native speaker could understand me.

3/7/16 - Centurion’s Post all the way! I figured I’d rather knit with chunky than with thread. Maybe. Sometimes. Heck. Centurions are cool. I knit Centurions now.

3/14/16 - A 2 color diagram for me. Honestly, I would have done a three color…. buuuuut, the Theta Sigma pattern is prettier!

3/21/16 - I picked Florizel but then I loused it up. I ended the section early. I might re-knit. Maybe. 4/4/16 - I mucked up the Florizel, but I ended it early, then knit the regular Zeppelin XD

3/28/16 - ION STORM ALL THE WAY. I don’t fuck with goddesses or create insane paradoxes ;)

4/4/16 - VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!! For Katie. There was an error in the pattern so I fell behind. Actually knit this on 4/20/16. CATCHING BACK UP!

4/20/16 - Section 9 - I think I’m going to choose a book not listed since I want a stitch and lace dictionary WITH CHARTS and the ones listed there don’t have charts (I think) which leads me to knit Piperline, but then I thought about EZ books and she’s hilarious, so I’m going to try Gamma Strike.

Section 10 - New England, Gloves, please! Horn of Daemos for me.

4/27/16 Section 11 - Chameleon Arch! (resume with row 10)

Section 12 - Reinette

Section 13 - Reversed Polarity

5/23/16 - catching up again.
Section 14 - Vanishing Point - although I was very tempted to do the one with the living Romans!
Section 15 -

Finish last section:

Row 10: K5, YO, SSK, K2tog, YO, K8, YO, SSK, K2tog, YO, K1; rep fr to last 5 sts, end K5.

Row11: K5, P across to last 4 sts, end K 4.

Row 12: K5, YO, Sl1-K2tog-PSSO, YO, K10, YO, K3tog, YO, K1; rep fr to last 5 sts, end K5.
