Name this wee beastie La Li, short for Lapis Lazuli because he is a little gem of adorableness who can dance but is very shy and likes to stay wrapped up in his tiny hood.

As for making him: OH MY GOD SO FIDDLY ON MY TINY HOOK XD. Never again with fingering! I needed a much smaller hook to get a good gauge than what the pattern called for so it was kind of a nightmare with the hook splitting the yarn all over the place. Crocheting his spines made me nearly go mad.

If I make him again it’ll be worsted weight for CERTAIN. But I’m so glad I made him. He’s super adorable.
