Notes

Knit these for mom because she had to go in for emergency surgery and we all waited and hoped like hell that it wasn’t cancer.

AND IT IS NOT! SO RELIEVED. Magic socks, FTW.

cast on 36. 12 stitches on each needle. pattern repeats are 6 stitches. Work 3 pattern repeats for the leg.

Divide for heel. 18 stitches for the heel. knit until 2.5 inches long.

Turn heel. On knit side, knit till 2 past center stitch, k2tog, k1, turn. repeat until heel is turned.

Picked up 11 stitches along the heel flap.

Toe - decrease every third row until 16 stitches remain. 8 on top 8 on bottom. Graft Toe.
