My daughter was given a little hat in the NICU for her littlest son and asked me to make a couple like it for both boys. Smallest hat is for 11” head and larger for 12.5” head. Original hat was done in K6, P6 basket weave, but I preferred straight stockinette.
The boys were born six weeks early on 1/26/15. Joseph 2lbs 11oz. and Jacob 4.5lbs. They are doing very well :0)
2/6 Action shots are in - okay, not much action, but still :0) It looks like Jacob’s hat was a bit long for him, I think I will reduce by a few rows next time.
2/2 Knitting complete, hats are soaking.
