2/22 Finished!
2/20 Knitting complete. Need to weave in ends and block, but I’m nearly done! I had to get quite creative to get this to work using 6 different skeins of yarn, but I am satisfied with the result :0)
2/19 short rows completed and am 6 rows into the last 2.5” of the collar/front bands. Only 24 more rows. At 408 sts. a row, that’d be 9792 stitches to go - but who’s counting?! ;0)
2/17 sleeves done - starting the fronts tomorrow
2/13 really enjoying making this cardigan - I didn’t have enough of any one color in my stash to make this, so I grabbed all my Tosh Sock and my Twinkle Toes (which is nearly identical) and am working them together to make this. Very happy so far!

Mods:
~Moved waist shaping several inches lower due to my long waist
~Added more sleeve decreases - after the ones specified in the pattern I continued to decrease every 2” until 14” from armhole, then every inch after that up to the cuff portion. Cuff knit on 52 stitches.
~Decreased 4 stitches, one on either side of each of the back original increase lines, about 1/2” (6 rows) before bind-off of fronts to bring the neckline in a bit more, I also considered (but didn’t do) knitting the back neck garter stitch in a smaller needle which I might do next time.
~Switched ribbing to mock rib instead of twisted rib
~Made bottom ribbed hem wider
~Added about 2” total length
~Knit sleeves flat from armhole to right before the cuff, and seamed them, because I’m a wimp and it was easier for me to deal with the ends from the color changes that way :0)
~US 3 for fronts, US 2 for bottom ribbing, US 2.5 for cuffs
