This is such a cute pattern.

I’ve decided to go with an entirely different dress as the pattern dress was not working out well in the colors we’re using. It’s the same style dress I did for this bear (details in the notes) but using the stitch counts and decrease instructions for the dress for this doll pattern. I worked the dress top down (reversed) doing a kfb every time there was a k2tog or an ssk. I also added additional plain rows in the top section as the row gauge for the garter was different (shorter) than the stockinette. At the waistline I increased 1:1 (K1, m1 backwards loop - all the way around) ending up with 120 stitches for the skirt.
