A little doll for my friend’s granddaughter Anny.

Curls made with crochet by chaining 40, 45, 50 and 60 stitches (for varying lengths) and then single crocheting twice (or three times for thicker curls) in each chain stitch. Super easy!

12/18/18 Anny got her doll today and this is what her grandma said: “Anny loves her “Annyciti”!! She loves everything, but she is incredibly thrilled with her hair. She can’t believe it - over and over she says ‘her hair is just like mine’.

6/10/23 This year will be 5 years since Anny got her doll which she named Annyciti. She’s quite grown up now, but this is what her Grandma Elizabeth (Knapknits) told me today (such terrific feedback!):

I don’t know if I told you before - the yarn you used, the ecobutterfly pakucho worsted organic cotton for the skin and Lily sugar n cream for the legs both held up well, without pilling. The dress yarn is fantastic. The hair has straightened a little. But the doll is otherwise like new even though she has slept in Anny’s arms every night for 5 years and traveled to California, India, Prague, Toronto and twice to Norway! Amazing.
