I knit the little jacket in one piece, top down and added the sleeves last, working them backwards and picking up stitches instead of castting them off and decreasing instead of increasing. This required reading across all of the instructions for each jacket piece at once, but as they are well numbered it was actually not very difficult. The style of the jacket was altered to match a baby cardigan that will be part of the same baby gift.
