Used the suggested needle size, but only got 3.5 inches square in the gauge swatch. So I used the largest size instructions to get more of a middle-sized cape. I also kept the length the same at the largest size so it would cover more of the arm since it will be worn over a sleeveless dress in lieu of a jacket.
