Weighed the yarn before casting on: 79g

Sept 17 - cast on in the evening and did the first 20 set up row. Fairly straightfoward. The yarn is very silky.

Sept 18 - knit 10 rows of chart A

Sept 19 - finished chart A. 50g of yarn left on the first ball.

Oct 1 - First skein of yarn ran out at row 8 of Chart C. Wondering if I should make it any longer. Let’s just keep going and see how big it is half way through chart D.

Oct 13 - it’s thanksgiving here in Canada and. i was able to knit 9 rows today! Only 13 rows left!

Oct 18 - I stayed up until past midnight to finish the bind off and couldn’t resist blocking it immediately. The alpaca is not as soft as I would have liked but the shawl has wonderful drape and is very warm. Definitely a pattern to try again!

I had 30g of yarn left. I could probably have done another repeat of the lace but I was impatient to finish and the size seemed right.
