I’m making a basic light wrap that will be about 16” wide by 60” long in at least six different colours.
1” seed stitch on each side, and st st in the middle.
May 20th - Finished the first colour! I wasn’t sure I got enough yarn so was looking forward to seeing how much I would get out of each skein. I used 10g of the blue to make the swatch and despite that I got 10” out of it. Since I wanted to get at least 60”, looks like I won’t need any more yarn!
May 25th - I began to 3rd colour after knitting on the very long drive from Toronto to Memphis. It’s taking a while but it will be very nice. I love the feel of the fabric; so soft!
May 31st - mid June -> took a break to work on my Linen Holden
July 5th - onto the fifth colour! progress!
August 11th - started last colour after another break working on a Lintilla shawl.
August 21st - cast off!! finally!! Unblocked it measures 75 inchs (190cm) long vs 12 1/2 in (32 cm). I suppose I could have made it a big wider and shorter but I’m quite happy with it!
