This took so long because I knew I wasn’t going to have enough yarn, and by avoiding it I hoped it would just sort of fix itself. It didn’t.

Went full speed ahead and got through with the large black stripe with only one repeat left to go. My heart was pounding and my hands were so sweaty I could barely hold the needles as I did that last row. How silly. I made it but it sure was tight. Was not really happy until I blocked it and tried it on, and wow, it actually is really nice!

I’ll make another one according to pattern some day, but I’ll wear this for sure now!
