Done. Did the following mods:

• used Aran weight instead of bulky and knitted with 3mm needles to get a compact and small (for a 2yo) mitten.
• used Kitchener stitch to bind off when I had 18 st on the needles (next time I’ll use these tips for closing with the Kitchener stitch: https://www.masondixonknitting.com/techniques-depth-socks...)
• added an icord

Considering decorating them with some duplicate stitch, but I won’t have the time.

Motif of the moon added in duplicate stitch (can’t remember the pattern).
Somehow I managed to make one mitten longer than the other. Well, she’s growing anyway, next year I’ll have to knit up new ones.
