Bought on an impulse an aran weight instead of a bulky yarn and thought: I can handle this.
Swatching with 7 mm is showing that this isn’t meant to be, I’m changing to 6 mm. And then I’ll just follow the intructions for a larger size and hope for the best (after doing some math, of course).

Oh no. I picked up the stitches for the cowl on the wrong side of the hood (and knitted to the end without checking the photo). Silly me. And since I just can’t live with a mistake, I had to frogg it. Haven’t picked them up again. Ugh.

Done. Math worked out for me. Had to temper around the ears so they stand and not be floppy.
