This sweater is not a quick knit, but it is also the most stunningly beautiful sweater I have ever knit, and worth every stitch!

it’s a major knitting project, juggling the many patterns going on, and not a lick of plain stockinette to be found except the edges. I could still watch tv and knit, but there is too much looking down to watch something with subtitles!

Mods:
- did ribbing for the entire hem instead of running the front cables down. When I did the first hem row, I also knit some of the cable stitches together, to get rid of the extra stitches that cables require. In a 12-stitch cable, I probably decreased by 3 stitches.

Notes:

• Back braid: 12 repeats after 2nd cast on. 15 from start.
• Left side. End first part after row 4 not 2. End after row 4 of 12th repeat.
• End back after row 16 cable and row 8 lace.
• End front after row 16 cable, row 8 lace, and row 2 braid.

Pocket start row 15 front cables, row 1braid, row 7 lace.
Pocket back- 38 rows.

Sleeve- row 2 is cable now due to pick-up row. After 5 decreases (19 each side) switch to decrease every 10th row once then every 8th row 3 times. End at row 4 braid??Ribbing for 28 rows then bind off with larger needles. 20 grams left from one skein (104 grams approx, or 210 yards used for one sleeve).
