Notes

Jan. 7, 2011 I am using leftover red and white yarn from the Animal Antics blanket. I really like this pattern so far, as the graph is large and easy to read. I kept each horizontal 1/3 separate and did not tape them all together.

Jan. 13, 2011 Done! There are a couple of changes I made to the pattern - I made the bamboo consistent on the left to match the right, and I did the repeat after the panda based on rows 16-27 of the border pattern repeat.

I made an error in buying green acrylic from Joanne Fabrics - some cheap Vanna’s Pride stuff. It isn’t as soft as the Comfort, and the eucalyptus leaf is a different texture and stiffer than the rest. Live and learn.

I may line the blanket between the border - I included a pic of the back (after 1 washing by machine) showing the ends woven in.

This took me a week of pretty intensive knitting (work/eat/knit), to get ready for the shower, so I plan to take my time on the next one (and there WILL be a next one) and perhaps make it a bit longer. The pattern is 31 x 31 and mine is approx. the same. LOVE THIS PATTERN! Thanks, Adrienne.
