Cast on 60 stitches using the Chinese Waitress Cast-on here. I like this cast-on for striped yarn, as you don’t need 2 tails and thus 2 colours of yarn in your cast on - only 1 tail.

• 13 rows 1x1 rib. Increase row 14.
• Pattern to 4 rows black then decrease and start ribbing.
• Round 7- rib half, out of black so turn and start heel flap. Next time no ribbing between the pattern and the heel flap. - decrease row and 1 stockinette row are enough.
• 32 rows ending with 4 black for the heel flap.
• did the slip stitch arch for X rows, then regular.
• after decreasing down to 10 for toe, kitchener (no extra rows).
• 87 grams for 2 socks. 17 grams left..
