Notes

I have made these previously for my daughter here.

Taking these on my motorcycle trip to Montana (Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park) and up to the Canadian Rockies (Banff and Jasper). 19 days, so I should get something done, although I am often so tired that I can’t even knit at night, which hardly ever happens otherwise.

Notes Cast on 60 stitches using German Twisted Cast-On here over 2 needles. Tail at front, working yarn at back. I measured fingertip to nose from the middle of the gray-to-pink transition, then put my slip knot there. Tail was fingertip to nose also.

Starting yarn weight 102 grams. Leftover is 40 grams. Socks weigh 62 grams.

13 rows 1x1 rib. Increase row 14. No ribbing between the pattern and the heel flap. - decrease row and 1 stockinette row are enough.

Start the toe when it turns pink.

These were too tight on the leg and distorted the fruit stripe pattern. Anneke gets them, and is very happy.
