My DD needs a warm hat for winter to wrangle that mass of dreads she has.

I love the baby-cable ribbing, although this yarn does not have great stitch definition (but it’s washable!) I will probably use this ribbing for other projects.

The trim is Plucky worsted, in the colourway Headboard, from my good friend Shannon.

Mods:

• stopped 2 rows short on ribbing, as my row gauge is different, using worsted.
• first increase row did m1l instead of lifted increase, as I thought it would look less obvious (I may be wrong in this).

next time I would ensure my decreases were on at least the second row of a colour change.
