My sister gave me 2 skeins of this yarn so I will probably need to get more.

The first skein lasted 43 rounds with a tiny bit leftover. Since the rounds increase as we go, I’m really not sure how much I’ll need! We’ll see how long the second one lasts.

I wish I was more skilled at planned color-changes. I have 2 colors (blue and gray) and wish that I had changed colors throughout (at least it would make my yarn last longer before needing to buy more) but I really don’t feel confident doing that without seeing the finished product. But it would be so striking in 2 colors!

I’m on row 62 and it’s looking like this is where my second skein will end! Oh no! I need more!

I started over on 9/14 because the top wasn’t straight. I’m using 2 colors, switching every 2 or 4 rounds (so I can carry the unused color along the side). I’ve had to make lots of changes and lots of frogging, but it’s coming out way better.

I’ve had to frog so many times! What I’ve learned is this: always increase on the ends and always increase at the point. Always.

I’m on round 84 and I’ve run out of my gray color so I will need to wait before I can continue.
