This doily has 32 rounds and is very easy. The way the star/flower fans out in the middle is very beautiful.

IMPORTANT NOTE
I changed the way round 22 begins. If you look at the picture in the magazine and the chart, you can see that the way it is supposed to start makes the pineapples (or whatever they are, since they’re not quite pineapples) off-centered by one. Therefore, I started row 22 with a DC directly from where I ended the last round, instead of slip-stitching across to the next DC. Doing this makes the pineapples centered on top of the flower points.

BLOCKING
The very last picture shows what it looked like BEFORE it was blocked. To block, I pin it down, starting in the middle and working outwards. Then I steam it with an iron (don’t let the iron touch it). Then I spray it with can starch. I let it dry (I point a fan at it).
