Notes

Overall rather fun and quick to knit. The yarn was so soft and squelchy to knit with, making it a pleasurable knit.

Making for newborn, so though yarn I used is Aran weight and gauge is a bit smaller than recommended (Worsted), I didn’t adjust the number of stitches, thinking I would end up with a smaller hat, suitable for newborn. But in the end the size still looks too big for newborn regardless, and was 14 inch in circumference.

Also not too keen on the Ochre colour, it looked a little too ‘dirty’ for newborn.

PS: Just realised I made a mistake in knitting this. For the short rows, I misread ‘next two rows’ as just next row, and hence knitted only half the intended rows for the ear flaps. Was wondering why they are so tiny!
