This flew off the needles…I wanted to finish it before Vogue Knitting Live, blogged here.
This yarn is unbelievable soft and feels really luxurious, probably due to the fiber content of camel hair and extra fine merino and lovely cable-spun construction. I was having some gauge issues that completely resolved themselves in blocking, and the resulting fabric is soft and drapey. The color is a soft forest-y green, and because the camel hair doesn’t take dye in the same way merino does, there are some soft white poufy bits interspersed through it. The waist shaping is flattering and though I had my reservations about the cowl size at first, it looks great on. I’ll be sure to post some pictures wearing it soon.
I love this pattern! You can find a tutorial for the increase method used here.
