I am in a stretch of good yarn luck lately. This is an amazing yarn to knit with and feels so luxurious.

I knitted the sleeve in the round so I had to modify the stitch pattern, but that was an obvious thing to do.

My mom sew on the buttons for me. As I mentioned before I just don’t like sewing on buttons, lol. V and I are so happy she is here. V is so relieved and doesn’t feel the need to check on me once an hour when he is at work. Mom will be helping us care for Tommy for the next year. I am so lucky!!! Mom is a terrific cook so already our quality of life has vastly improved…

I used way less yarn than the pattern called for - even though I have achieved gauge and the size of the cardigan was exactly right. It wouldn’t even have been 3 entire skeins if I didn’t add the i-cord and Pom-pom detail.

I used provisional cast on for the hood and made the seed stitch region into a hollow tube so I can insert the i-cord in there. Then I attached the Pom-Poms. I love the Pom-Poms but I am not sure if it will be that practical, since Nick just turned 1 and is currently teething….

Nick is an amazing baby and he likes to smile. Thanks to him Tommy has a lot of great outfits and toys!!
