Came out super cute. Very easy knit. Added 10 to cast on as others have said too small and also knit to 4.5” before decrease as others have. I guess I will find out sizing when River tries it on. :)

Also made a garterstitch blanket. Good size for car seat or baby swing.

Yarn is very squishy. I like the feel. Not a good yarn for crochet I don’t think, as I found it difficult to find my chains and stitches to crochet into. Just fine for knitting tho.

River came for Thanksgiving. Hat is the tiniest bit big on her little 3mo old head. Had I not added the 10 stitches and knit extra for length it would hv been snug and not wearable for a long length of time. So I’m glad I added to pattern. Its adorable on her, and Mommy and Daddy love it. They’ve gotten lots of compliments when River is wearing her hat and their little family is out and about. :)
