Starting the second mitt. Looks nice. Fits nice. I think I will have Sarah try them on when she’s here for Thanksgiving, her hand is probably nearer Laurie’s size than mine…they are both so nice and tall.

I’m wondering if I’ve made theses before? It seems so familiar while I’ve be been working the pattern. (Maybe I have, and they never made it into a ravelry project page, that actually happens quite often.)

I can’t believe it’s 5mos later and I’m just now finishing the second mitt. Tisk tisk.

I like the finished product very much. It’s a well explained pattern, with lots of photos for explanation….but. I find it frustrating when you are on a different part of a pattern and the pattern says “now do like you did in row 3” and I have to go find the page where row 3 was explained and follow row 3 instructions. This pattern does that several times. I really like the pattern and the finished object, so next time I make these I’m either going to write it out or draw myself a chart to save a lot of grumbling and searching.

And +about+ the afore mentioned grumbling, a note that this is a lovely and VERY FREE pattern, I really shouldn’t grumble too much. :)
