This turned out very well I think. :)

I am terribleawfulsuckystinky (yes it’s that bad) at knit icord. After practicing it quite a bit and not being happy at all, I decided to try a crochet icord. I used this video demo from YouTube with great success. It’s a tiny bit fiddly, but I had much better results. I also had looked at a few knit videos on attached icord borders and married that idea with the crochet icord process and it worked. I was actually blown away that it worked so well. So I made 6” and then added my crochet icord around the neck of the bonnet (its a join as you go idea) then made another 6”. I’m pretty puffed up with how pretty it finished that edge.

I split a length of my DKTwist into two to use it to sew the turning row under. Worked perfectly. I had to frog a few rows once. Note to self…be SURE to pay attention to the decrease rows, they aren’t all k3 together, some are k2 together.

Great stitch definition with the DKTwist, but I’m used to that. Such a very lovely yarn.
