Notes

Quite enjoyed this pattern. It went faster than expected. The yarn is fab, but I’ve used it before and always enjoy it. The color goes with so much of my wardrobe. It’s great to throw on to take a chill off, as I am invariably under an AC vent wherever I go. I never did get the pattern memorized, but as I began each row it was easy to get in the swing of it. Made some good color coded ‘markups’ on the chart pattern for myself which helped at a glance to get me set up for each row and the chain counts.

Fits nice. The hand is lovely. After wearing several times I am going to block the arm holes to hang looser, I think I will enjoy the look more with them being loose than being gathered.

Swatched and needed the 3.5mm.

Put the pattern in knit companion and marked the chart up w colors as to the rows and highlighted the chain sections with different colors to tell at a glance the number used. (There are lots of chains.) Man I LOVE A CHART!!!

Added one repeat to make it a bit longer.
Starting Ch 117.

2 repeats finished. Working faster now that the pattern is emerging. And faster than I expected it would go. Over an evening and a morning before work it seems I can get one repeat finished.

Blocked out great. Love the fabric. I’m on the second sleeve of my ribbings. Great notes and photos linked in the pattern on how to do the ribbing. Its nice, neat and easy to do, if not a tiny bit tedious. (But hey, it’s ribbing, its always tedious.) Easily TV work. I decided to do the sleeves first and then I’m completely done when I finish round the body ribbing.

SURPRISINGLY easy and quick to do the ribbing. Went so much quicker than I anticipated. Wearing it a few times to decide if I want to block further. I like the ribbing around the neckline, but I think I will block the arm ribbing a little wider than it is currently.
