Fun square. Interesting construction. Not as hard as you might think. Pay attention to counts and you will be A ok. The crab stitch that goes around the petals is a nice touch: great place to add color and stiffs up the edges nicely. The border treatment is very cool as well, and is a fun place to play with color.

I used lots more color changes than called for…but then I always do. ;) Hard to get the camera to show the colors correctly. The ‘close up’ pic is closest to actual coloration.

I only had to add a row of hdc, unusual for me…I’m a really tight crocheter.
