Notes

Before I began the final trim, I did a row of purl to help avoid some curling. I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off, which worked perfectly.

I wasn’t able to eke out as many chart repeats as expected, given the Smooshy yardage. I finished with 7m left over. (Oh, and the true color is closest to the last two photos -- my camera makes everything too bright.)

Final measurements: 57” circumference, 10” width.

Wet-blocking it with wires turned out to be an excellent idea, as it stretched and grew much larger than it appeared when I finished knitting. It’s long enough to wrap around my neck twice, though if I do that I might use a shawl pin to show off the wave pattern. I also like just letting it hang loose, although the V at the bottom isn’t really my thing. I wish there were a way to make this into a moebius, but that’s impossible with the pattern. Alas!

In conclusion: I LOVE THIS COWL!
