Ok. Let’s throw all that out the window. After frogging and restarting at a much tighter gauge, let it be known:

• I’m knitting in the round, therefore taking two sts off of each side. 95 sts wide becomes 93 and so on and so forth.

• The short row-three needle bind off shoulders from last time worked out so nice, I’m repeating them.

• Also in the interests of tidiness, I’m using Techknitting’s chain bindoff techniques for the collar.

• The ideal cuff method will be sorted out when I get to it. Ed: began at cuff edging, worked my way up in the round, then worked flat when it came to the shoulder shaping.

• Using Spork’s method for the neckline; picking up 188 sts with a US 5/3.75 mm needle, and switching to a US 4/3.50 mm needle halfway through.
