The Knit Shoppe in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania

Working in the squares in stockingette, in the round. In the future, probably mitered garter stitch squares would be better at retaining their shape. Hmm. (Oh but can you just see black Noro in garter, edged with a pale shell color? It would be fabulous.)

Following the Fibonacci sequence, square sizes, in terms of stitches: 10x10, 10x10, 20x20, 30x30, 50x50, 80x80, 130x130. I rather doubt I have enough yarn or needles long enough to go up to 210x210.

To be crocheted together with some kind of creamy/pale green Cascade, I think.

May 24, 2009: Ran out of yarn. And out of an entire fibre festival, no one has this Noro colorway. Ah well.

June 22 & 23, 2009: Brought to knit night for advice (and relearning everything I ever knew about crochet, which I had managed to forget). 6 of the squares, steamed and blocked, made for an eazy zipping-together with some single crochet. Now to just get the darned 130 x 130 square off the needles …
