1.5.18: about ½ of the base sphere crocheted in 2 days

11.9.18: Picked this back up after forgetting it all summer and crocheted to the top of the initial sphere. Forced to wait until I have sewn a lining bag to stuff it. I only had rice on hand at first, and although I’ve bought dried peas which wouldn’t fit through the holes, the fabric is probably not solid enough to prevent tufts of polyfill escaping. The pattern wants me to only put a little heavy filling in and make up the difference with polyfill, so it needs a liner. I’ve been putting off said sewing an entire week because I don’t have anywhere to set up the sewing machine.
